Targeting Approach
Cloudflare’s core focus when looking at targeting end users is at the seniority of the persona. Having a portfolio comprising of both IT Security & Non-security solutions alike, it lends itself to a horizontal approach when targeting businesses. However, when looking to engage with the IT Buyers Cloudflare want to ensure that they are of a significant influencer in the buying process. There are a couple of approaches we take to ensure this:
- Delegate have answered ‘yes’ to the IT Security Decision Maker question proposed as part of the Delegate Target List
- Outlined that they have enough budget to purchase Cloudflare’s solutions
- Operate at Director, VP or C-Level
Engagement History & Bookings
Cloudflare initially joined our first UK programme of 2020 where we organised 11 meetings for their enterprise sales team. Showing Cloudflare’s marketing team that we were able to provide enterprise business engagements despite the impacts of the pandemic meant that Strategy Insights was soon recommended to several other regional teams.
